Brief Bio

Val is the Canadian Blood Service’s Hospital Liaison Specialist for the Prairie Region. The Prairie Region includes hospitals serviced by Canadian Blood Services in Manitoba, North West Ontario and Saskatchewan. She has a Bachelor of Laboratory Technology from at the University of Regina and is a registered MLT. Prior to her current position, Val was the Blood Bank Charge Technologist at the Plains Health Centre in Regina and then the Laboratory Manager at Canadian Blood Services Saskatchewan for thirteen years.

Val is a Judge in the 2012 Learning Competition.
